How can I work on a draft version of the website?

This is very useful if you want to work on changes but need approval before making the them 'live', or if you simply want to experiment with settings without affecting what goes live on the internet.

First, go the 'Admin' menu in the left hand pane and click on 'List Versions' in the dropdown menu. 

Create a copy of the database by clicking on 'copy' and giving the database a name when it prompts you (such as 'draft'). You will now be editing this new version.

How do I change the version I am working on?

Click on 'List Versions' in the Admin menu (left hand pane).

Simply click on the version you want to work on.

How do I know which version I am editing?

This will be displayed just below the navigation menu in the left hand pane: "Currently editing 'xxxx' version'.

How do I change the version I am working on into the actual live version?

Make sure you are currently editing the 'version' you want to make live. Go to 'Admin' in the left hand pane and click on 'Publish' in the drop-down menu.

You will have an opportunity to backup the current live site before you replace it with the version you are working on.
